Proper Medical Writing (PMW)
PMW is an educational initiative developed to enhance skills and to provide support to current and future authors of medical papers. Various aspects of the project (e.g. medical writing) have been designed for those who wish to successfully publish their articles in English medical journals and present their results at scientific conferences.
PMW Courses
During courses attendees will receive the essential knowledge on how to write abstracts, prepare content and deliver results using appropriate medical English. By taking part in a series of case studies participants will have a chance to implement new knowledge into practice.
The workshops are led by professional medical writers, consultants, trainers and academic lecturers from Poland, UK, Sweden, Germany and USA.
The first Proper Medical Writing course took place in 2007 facilitated by the former Editor of British Medical Journal (1975-1991), medical doctor and author of many books on journalism - Dr Stephen Lock.
Since 2009, our primary speaker was Dr. John Carpenter, who is a professor at the University of Manchester, a board member of the European Medical Writers Association (EMWA) and author of the European guidelines in the peer review medical publications. (read more about John Carpenter)

PMW Publication Support Service - Medical Writing & Editing
This service has been created to provide publication support for Polish physicians seeking to publish clinical or biomedical reports in English language journals.
It is probably a safe assumption that all, or at least the vast majority, of leading medical and scientific academic journals are English language publications. This, in addition to other constraints, creates barriers to Polish clinicians to achieving publication of their work in leading European and USA journals. Acknowledging this need, infrared group has identified an opportunity to provide an editorial service for Polish clinicians specifically designed to facilitate submission of material for publication to appropriate eminent journals.
Recognising that such publications might arise from a wide variety of source information, the service needs to be flexible but also sufficiently defined to allow clinicians to identify the extent of support that they are likely to need based on the advertised features of the service.

The service includes:
